GENERAL INFORMATION

 SPORTSMANSHIP

School soccer is played by school children for the school children’s benefit.  Parent’s assist in running school soccer and every assistance should be given to allow participating children to develop to their full potential with the emphasis being participation.

 Referees are solely responsible for the conduct of all matches.  Players who use offensive language or are unduly rough play will be warned once and then sent off for part or all of the game at the sole discretion of the referee.  The offending player will not be replaced.  Such instances shall be recorded on the result sheet.

BLOOD RULE 

Players who are bleeding are to leave the field immediately and seek treatment.  

JEWELLERY  

Jewellery is not permitted on the field of play.  Players are to remove all earrings, necklaces, rings etc, before the commencement of their game. 

The only permitted jewellery is a medical alert ‘tag’, but is to be taped to the player.  

REPRESENTATIVE GAMES 

During the year selection trials are conducted for representative teams in: 

1.       Western Division (Burnie) teams to play games against Central (Ulverstone) and East (Devonport), during and end of soccer season.

2.       North West team (combination of Western, Central & Eastern players) selection for Launceston Carnival at end of soccer season. 

Coaches are always needed for these teams.  If you feel that you would like to coach one of these teams, please contact a committee member.
